Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs 2|10|13

Announcements by Pastor Kevin

Call to Worship: (2 songs)  We Will Glorify, followed by chorus “Lord, Be Glorified” (organ/piano).

We will glorify the King of Kings

We will glorify the Lamb

We will glorify the Lord of Lords

Who is the great I Am

 King Jehovah reigns in majesty

We will bow before his throne

We will worship him in righteousness

Scripture Reading and Prayer by Nick Serroque  Matthew 4:1-11.  We chose this passage because it contrasts Jesus, who was faithful and trusted His Father in the wilderness when hungry, compared to the Israelites who were prone to grumble when their needs were not met.

Greeting Time – Nick Serroque will invite people to greet one another in the name of the Lord.

In Christ Alone  accompanied by the band

In Christ alone my hope is found, He is my light, my strength, my song

This Cornerstone, this solid Ground, firm through the fiercest drought and storm

What heights of love, what depths of peace, when fears are stilled, when strivings cease

My Comforter, my All in All, here in the love of Christ I stand

Satisfied  (words by Clara Williams in 1875, music by Indelible Grace) led by Band.

Poor I was, and sought for riches, Something that would satisfy,

But the dust I gathered round me Only mocked my soul’s sad cry.

Hallelujah! I have found Him.Whom my soul so long has craved!

Jesus satisfies my longings, Through His blood I now am saved

Sermon by Pastor Kevin from Exodus 15:22-27  “Bitter Water & Sweet Mercy”

Invitation: Trust and Obey (written by John Sammis 1887) accompanied by organ & piano, led by Jim Abbott

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,

What a glory He sheds on our way!

While we do His good will, He abides with us still,

And with all who will trust and obey.

Offertory:  Revive Us Again  (written by William Mackay 1863) with added chorus from Big Daddy Weave.

We praise Thee, O God! For the Son of Thy love,

For Jesus Who died, And is now gone above.

Hallelujah! Thine the glory.  Hallelujah! Amen.

Hallelujah! Thine the glory. Revive us again.
